All children in Amsterdam deserve the opportunity to grow up healthy. The GGD Amsterdam and knowledge institutions are investigating what is necessary for a healthy future for all Amsterdam children. We do this with the Sarphati Cohort, where children are followed for an extended period. With the Sarphati Cohort, we collect data on growth and development.
You can be a part of this, whether you are a parent, professional, policymaker, or researcher.
The knowledge we gather provides answers to questions about healthy growth. This knowledge is reliable and valuable for developing policies and supporting healthcare professionals in practice. Our data are used for various health themes, such as sleep and physical activity.
As a parent/caregiver, you make a significant contribution to the health of all children in Amsterdam.
